Telenor SmartAd is an Android application developed by Telenor Bulgaria in the Lifestyle category. It is a free app that provides additional MBs to the users in exchange for presenting them with attractive advertising content. The app presents short videos, with or without sound, that can be stopped at any time. The videos are shown in maximum intervals from each other, depending on the usage of the device. The content is based on the interests and preferences of the user, which are specified during registration.
The app also provides special offers, educational messages, and funny videos. Users can choose to see the video content on an incoming or outgoing call or immediately after unlocking their smartphone. Using the Telenor network, each customer who downloads the app receives 2000 MB after the initial installation and 500 MB every 10 days with daily activity. The app updates the content automatically on a daily basis, and when connected to Wi-Fi, it does not consume mobile data. However, starting from, Telenor SmartAd will not be available for Telenor users, and the service will be terminated.
